BECOME A MEMBER
Les Dames d'Escoffier International is an invitation only organization, made up of 44 chapters in North America, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Italy, and France, totalling 2,600 women leaders. The only organization of its kind in the world, this global philanthropic society celebrates women who have achieved success and a high level professional stature in the fields of gastronomy, culinary arts, beverage and hospitality industries.

​To be eligible for consideration to Les Dames d'Escoffier North Carolina, potential candidates must:

Have achieved distinction and high professional stature in her career and be knowledgeable in the areas of food, beverage, and hospitality.​

Be actively employed in the fields of food, beverage or hospitality with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. If work is not completely culinary in nature, (such as PR, writing, event management, etc.) 75% of it for those five years must be culinary-related.

Support the mission of the NC of LDEI. With the membership process held once per year in the late spring, potential candidates who meet this criteria are encouraged to attend several of our events, as a guest of a Dame.

Receive at least one letter of recommendation from a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (NC Chapter or other).
